Because of her love of real estate and the idea of creating good customer service, Dixie purchased Carroll Realty Co., Inc. in 1990 with the idea of taking the company to the next level. Technology advances have been an important part of where she wanted to take the company. Under her management the company has grown from a sales staff of 5, 1 support staff and 1 property manager to a sales staff of 25+, 5 support staff and 2 property managers.

Always looking for ways to improve the company, Dixie has obtained her GRI (Graduate of Real Estate Institute), CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), CRB (Certified Residential Broker) and is working on her E-pro designation. Continuing her knowledge of business and real estate is her number one goal.

Dixie has been Sheridan County Realtor of the Year in 1983 and 2007, Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce Business Person of the Year in 1999. She believes in giving back to the community and does so by serving on a number of boards. She is currently on the Sheridan County Memorial Hospital Board, City of Sheridan Board of Adjustment, Sheridan Housing Action Committee, Forward Sheridan and Multiple Listing Service Co-Chairman. She is a member of First Baptist Church and with her love of music, plays bells, sings in small groups and plays in the Instrumental Ensemble.
