Professional Experience: Even though Matt has proven his sales & marketing capabilities with various awards (Beyond Excellence®,  ERA Franchise award winner,) his past experience is what makes him different. Matt Westkott has owned and/or managed several businesses: Car Rental and Sales, Fitness Center, Retail Store and was the Advertising Director for the Sheridan Press newspaper. By utilizing this business & marketing experience, he has developed marketing tools & negotiating strategies that give clients a "Market Advantage."
 
Relentless Progress: With such a dynamic market place it is imperative to constantly improve with the industry. This dedication to developing Matt's practice has been directed at advanced training and various designations: Associate Broker, C.R.S. or Certified Residential Specialist and several commercial real estate programs/seminars throughout the country.
 
Passion for Sheridan: Matt's enthusiasm and passion for life is obvious in his work; his dedication to his family; Heather (wife), Simon, and Jessica; and his commitment to the community. In the past, he has volunteered time to the Chamber of Commerce as well as various groups that promote Sheridan and its economic growth. His love for the Big Horn Mountains and the outdoors takes him hiking and fishing with anyone willing to join him. He even tests himself every other year with a 70+ mile backpack trip called the 'Solitude Loop' or some other mountain challenge. Matt believes Sheridan to be truly the "Best Place to Live" in the world and participates in as many activities as possible: Softball, Tae Kwon Do, hiking, lifting weights & various with his kids at the YMCA.
